I bought this 9 months ago and it still works great. When I first read some reviews, people were saying that i was hard to see the fill line. I don’t even bother with the line anymore, I just fill up my mug with water (I bought a pure water filter for this reason alone) and just pour that in the back of it. I checked once and it was on the line exact.

The Wife loves this little coffee maker. She loves that it turns itself off after it is done making coffee, it’s convenient, makes a full coffee mug not a little cup, use regular coffee, she uses filters for less clean up but it does not really need it.

I’ve just bought my 3rd B&D coffee maker. (About once every 4 years) I used to use those high end coffee makers that were huge and extremely hard to clean and sometimes very poorly designed. I got my first Black and Decker because it had a small footprint, and I could prepare the coffee the night before and program it to start brewing so it would be ready when I woke up. It turned out to be everything I wanted in a coffee maker. So I keep buying them when I break the carafe, or melt the filter holder. It’s never stopped working, it’s just easy to replace them when they are so reasonably priced. It’s basic, not a counter-hog and makes delicious
coffee. And we are coffee fanatics.

Makes great coffee. EASY. Water, coffee, push button. I don’t bother with the program feature because it makes the coffee so fast. I use one to make tea and one for coffee. To make tea just put tea bags in basket(one bag for 2 cups of tea or however you like your tea. add water, push button, and you have 12 cups of tea in a few minutes. Stays hot so you can have another. Then store left over in a quart jar in refrigerator for iced tea later on.

The auto shut off is a wonderful feature.

I have been using this coffee maker for around 5 months now, and so far I am very pleased with it. The carafe is easy to pour, with minimal drips. It is easy, almost intuitive, to set the clock and program for automatic brewing. It makes a nice cup of coffee in about 10-15 minutes and keeps it hot until the automatic shut off feature kicks in. Prior to this purchase, I owned a slightly cheaper coffee maker from a different manufacturer that had a miserably designed carafe (it spilled coffee every time you poured). Just the carafe design alone
is worth the difference in price!
